Everyone has been gathering around the televisions in their home or by watching in the windows on the streets. It's a worldwide alert. The woman on the screen gives out the horrifying news.

"There have been numerous break outs of what is now being called 'The Blood Plague' or 'BP'. Two hundred accounts in New York alone have been reported and more outbreaks have come up in California, London, and South Africa. The Blood Plague seems to be some sort of super virus that attacks the nervous system and causes the infected to hallucinate. There have been many cases: from car crashes caused by the minorly infected, to murders caused by those near the severe stages. The police are having a hard time sorting the mad from the murderous and infected. There is no say on whether or not this is an airborne disease, or sexually transmitted...one doctor said it might even have something to do with sleep deprevation. Really, there's not much to know about this new outbreak of BP, but one thing is sure...be careful, America."

The ticker goes by quickly below her: A bus driver stepped on his breaks and punched a ten year old passenger to near death. When questioned the man said "He was going to kill my family!"/ Scientist Gregg Frost believes that the virus is just because of a lack of sleep, even going so far as to reference Fight Club as an example. When asked to explain how so many accounts could come up so close together, he had no comment./ Mother locks her son in the closet for three days. Once found, the child was taken from her mother and left to live with a distant cousin in Vermont. When services went to check up on the family, they found the child playing in the bathtub with the new family's intestines surrounding him./Vermont now second in highest infected list.

Personality: Happy and hard to worry at least on the surface anyway
Notes: Kuroku is a genuinely happy person everyday all day. At least that is what he shows on the surface but in reality he is struggling with this bone deep depression due to some terrible events in his past but he tries for everyone around him to be the best he can be and seem the happiest he can be. He is only concerned with the well being of those around him and will do anything to make people happy. He had been described and a very kind and caring person who is mischievous in a non harmful way. He is generally well like by the girls but has never been serious about anyone of them. One of his amazing qualities is his ability to leave a relationship and have both him and the girl smiling and regretting nothing and feeling no resentment towards each other. He knows not what stories and advantures await him in the up coming future of his life but then again who really knows and who would really want to know because as stated by a wise man: “Without mysteries, life would be very dull indeed.”
Background/History: His past was a depressing one at that and would have usually turned someone into either a crazy person or a really bad person. But not Kuroku and soon after watching his entire family being killed by his girlfriend and best friend who conseqeintly killed themselves he left the town he was born in with a heart full of depression and no plans at all. Due to the fact that he was from a relatively poor family he had no money at the time and had to sleep in the cold. Then during his travels he cam across a old woman who was traveling alone he offered to help her and she accepted he traveled with the old lady for the longest time and eventually they reached their destination but alas things turned to the worst for Kuroku the old woman it turned out was a vampire and she bit him and he was transformed into a vampire. Kuroku was distraught and he despaired and for many nights and days he wandered undying and unable to stop himself from drinking blood and when he though all was lost he met her. She was a girl named Harmony and something about her reawakened something inside of him that he had thought lost to him and that was emotion. They parted friends for she was not of this world and could not stay in it so they parted and he carried on him journey and he met a lot of different people who taught him a lot of different things and he became a better person because of those things and eventually his travels led him home to the City of London to visit his good friend Christine who happens to be a werewolf and where the sickness was rampant. That is were he is residing currently.

Personality: Most of the time she is very shy and prefers to be alone. Though, when the time calls for it she can be very proud and will do her best to stand up for what she believes. She also despises other Dark Fairy due to her personal history.
Notes: It was tough for her to survive on her own in the human world and sadly she was attacked by a rouge vampire, that all happened way before the outbreak was even rumored at. The vampire venom mixed with her Fairy blood has some untold side affects that have yet to be discovered. Though now, she has come accustomed to it but she still has yet to declare herself a brave soul.
Background/History: Missie was brought into a very powerful family of Dark Fairies. They were aristocratic and lived in what they called the “old ways”. After they were blessed with twins, they took forth on their growing popularity with the Fairy community and left their children with servants and such. The twins never did grow up with caring parents; instead they were treated liked dolls and life was but a show. So, once her sister Millie was able to act on her own, she ran away, forever naming herself the rebel of the family. She never did like being told what to do and was truly a dark person. Missie on the other hand she shared her sister's beliefs though she never showed it. She was the quiet one, which unfortunately allowed everyone take advantage over her. Finally she put her foot down and ran away a few decades after Millie had.

Notes: Sierra is figuring out that she has a psychic link, she can heal physical wounds. She has tried to heal those with the diease but failed she feels it is a lost cause but cuts, brusies and bone breaks are her speacialty.
Background: Sierra is a human who lives in an abandoned appartment. she is alone and scavenges for herself in this choatic world. She watched her family die from the disease she was with her little sister on her ding moments. when the last of them died she left in fear of exposier, for some odd reason with her family she never caught the virus but her younger siblings had. everyday she vists the orphaned childern and help them find food and shelter among the streets. she keeps to herself for protection, she has never fought in her life and wishes not to but she will if need be.

Kuroku got of the train about half an hour early. Unfortunately it was pouring rain and he was consequently soaked to the bone. Not that this bothered him very much, for he loved the rain. He liked the feel, smell, sound, and taste of it. "Typical of her to be late." Kuroku smiles, "At least I have my two instruments. My two unfailing friends my cello and my violin." He pulls out his violin and makes it so that rain will not touch it. He begins to play a song that can be heard all of the city because of the dead silence that possessed it due to fear. He then plays the piano part of the song on speakers but it still sounds as if it were being played there at that very moment. He begins to play.

Sierra had been restlessly laying in her bed thoughts constantly running through her mind. until the sound of music echoed up to her window. she frowned listening. It was strange to hear music in such a desolate place. she sat up the stains of the rain reflected on the wood floor through the moon beams that were shinning through. she listened harder. "who could be..." she trailed off as she began to walk quietly to the window the silent pitter-patter of the rain hitting the window was crisp as she stood there listening the melody being played by a man down the street. His figure was dark as she looked he was nothing but a living shadow on the dark streets. A slight meow came from the door way from the stray cat that followed her around since she had made herself at home in the abandoned warehouse. She smiled at it as it purred walking to her. She looked back at the window the rain was coming down a bit harder now as Sierra listened to the song being melodically played through the quiet streets of the city.

Kuroku sighed and looked around at the desolate city as his song came to a end. "Well this is morbidly depressing. I guess I have nothing better to do that to search for a companion or maybe even a meal." His eyes flashed red. "Yes a meal would be good. Let's see what we can find." He smelled the air. He could smell it the smell of a delicious human in a the nearby warehouse. He packed his things and began walking towards the warehouse.

Missie held a dark parasol over her head as she coughed into a handkerchief. She did not feel at all well as she stood motionlessly in an ally. Everything was so quiet, yet she sensed chaos about spill over at any second. Frowning, she heard a soft pair of footsteps making their way down the street. Curiosity accompanied her as she suddenly poked her head out into the street to peer over at Kuroku and his red eyes. Her own eyes widened and panic struck her suddenly. She most certainly did not want to get cornered in an ally by a vampire. Quickly, she left the ally and began walking with her head bowed and the parasol blocking her face from his view as she looked around frantically for a better hiding spot.

Just as Kuroku was about to fully descend into the hunt a particular smell entered his brain and it registered something he had not felt in a long time... longing. It was the smell of a Dark Fairy and it was combined with the always seductive sent of a vampire. He smiled devious smile and sank into the ground. He would confront her this vampire who smelled of a Dark Fairy. Or was she a Dark Fairy who smelled of a vampire. Or maybe quiet possible was she both. He traveled through the dark plane that is so intertwined with our own until he was directly next to this anomaly. He stepped out into reality right in front of his and quickly pinned her against a wall. "Greetings child of the night."

Missie yelped when Kuroku, the very person she was trying to avoid, suddenly stepped in front of her and had she was pinned against a wall. The look of fear was evident on her face, memories of her last confrontation with a vampire floating around the edges of her thoughts, making her drop her parasol. She refused to meet his gaze, instead gripping with both hands her scarf that was wrapped tightly around her neck obscuring something. It took her a moment to find her voice and she squeaked out a reply. “H-h-hello.”

He stared at her with seductive soul piercing eyes, "What are you hiding under the scarf." He made no move to remove it. He pressed her gently up against the wall. He brought his face down so his cheek was touching hers and he whispered in her ear, "I am sorry that I scared you." He released her let her go. He didn't move to far back and was still extremely close to her.

Missie felt tears collect in her eyes and she held her breath at the feeling of their cheeks touching. A shiver rippled down her spine, yet she found herself enjoying just the sound of his voice as he whispered in her ear. Biting nervously on her lip, she forced herself to focus. Blinking away the would-be tears, she let out a breath of relief as he released. “Yeah, well, apology not accepted,” she mumbled, fully aware she had ignored his earlier question. She knew he was toying with her; it was a common trait amongst most dark fairy’s as well, although it was one she did not share with them.

Sierra sighed when the mistrow ended his song. she placed her elbow on the cool window the dampness from the outside breathed it's way onto her skin. the purring cat pounced upon her lap rubbing his head upon her resting arm she smiled stroking inbetween her ears "well i guess our short concert is over" her voice was quiet not wanting to wake the others below sleeping in refuge from the storm. Sitting there rythmicly petting the velvet fur of the black cat her vision was set on the street below she could see the shadow of a man turning down an allyway. she watched it disappear in the darkness as the cat whispered a soft meow.

"Well you don't want to tell me what is under the scarf that is okay i am sure it is something personal and in this...this..." He made a vague gesture to the area around him, "...world we live in we must keep to ourselves what we must." He looked different when he said that and as if he was aware of it he turned away from her and ahead back around the front of the warehouse and entered it. He frowned to himself the will to hunt gone. He pulled out a beat up guitar and began to play.

Sierra's head snapped to the doorway that was partually open the music drifting in it's frame "who is that" she whispered she picked the cat up and placed it on the floor as she stood to walk to the stair well. she looked down her dark brown hair falling over her shoulders as she looked down to the scattered people who lay dormit the music becoming stronger as she walked the railing to the foot of the stairs. "whos there" she asked the darkness around her, her heart beating an extra beat.

The music completely changed and Kuroku let it play with no instruments and walked forward in the darkness toward the unsuspecting Sierra. He appeared behind her and whispered in a calming voice, "Sorry did I disturb you. I can turn it off if you like..." The moon at that moment illuminated the room. An it reflected softly in his eyes and cast a pale glow on his exposed skin.

Sierra's muscles tensed as she whirled around ready to fight or run which ever the situation offered her. The rate of her heart raced when she finally saw his face it was so mysterious his features alone caused her to quiver in fear deep down but on the outside she was calm. "the music is lovely but if you don't mind me asking who are you" she relaxed a bit but her human instincts told her to be on guard.

Missie pouted when Kuroku left and bent down to pick up her parasol, sighing. Once again, she was alone. When she heard music, it was a welcome and melodious sound. She found herself trailing after Kuroku into the warehouse, wondering if perhaps she had misjudged him. However, she froze when she saw him talking to a mortal. She hesitantly approached them, her parasol now tucked under her arm as she dabbed at her nose that had a trickle of blood staining her handkerchief. “Evening, mortal,” she greeted distractedly, blushing in embarrassment.

"In this...world we live in I guess names would be important wouldn't they... time flows so strangely for you... you live your lives and then you die... I wonder does what you know disappear... but to answer your question I am Kuroku... you smell very nice... you know... like the forest after a nice long cleansing rain..."

Then who he really was hit her, he was a vampire, she wouldn't be able to run or fight against him so she stood her ground "hello Kuroku i'm Sierra" when he noted her scent she didn't know what to exactly say to the compliment "thank you...i think" she took a step back whe nshe realized there was another in the warehouse besides him. "and who are you" she asked as she squinted to see the new guest.

"The realization of who I am seems to have struck you... if you knew this why did you turn your back on me... are you trying to escape... if your really want to I won't stop you..." He fell silent, "I am sorry... I sound crazy... I-I just haven't feed in so long." His face darkened slightly and he sat down on the lowest step.

"who you are as a creature did hit me because i've only met vicious, cruel and menicing vampires never one who cared for life." her voice was distant " i'm sorry you haven't fed but my veins are out of comission" she looked at him "i wouldn't try to anyway the sense of a hunt would make you even more dangerous so why would i be that naive??" she asked leaning on the railing of the stair well.
