Coraline felt a blush bloom along her cheeks at seeing Brutus’ smile. She was incapable of returning, but it was obvious she was joyous by the sparkle in her eyes as she set to work with Brutus by her side. Alizabell frowned at hearing this. “Oh well, me and Ariel were going to take up the task, but if you insist.” Ariel grinned and dashed out of the kitchen, Siobhan chasing him while whooping energetically. Alizabell rolled her eyes, “I’ll leave you to it then.” She drifted out of the kitchen, heading to her room. Donia nodded her head in understanding. “I know; it’s like there’s this huge responsibility is weighing down on my shoulders. They mean well, but I can’t help but be smothered by their expectations.” She cast her eyes down for a moment on the bubbling water of the fountain before looking back at him. Seeing the look in his eyes made her frown. “Do you remember how we first met? You were protecting your sister. Even though you guys aren’t even blood related, you still felt responsible for helping her out. How is that any different from this? We barely know these people, but I know deep down that they need us.”

Brutus smiled and carried a conversation about how clouds could be evil master minds tring to hypnotize those who look at them and gummie bears were to save them all hoping Coraline wouldn't find him insane but creative. Tali follow Zaria to her chamber the light streaming it brought a hiss to her "ohh i'm sorrry dear" she flicked her hands and all the lamps and candles went out but one. "better" she smiled and found her dagger sets one with saphirre tips and one with ruby tips "which ones should i train Donia on" Tali looked up at Zaria "i say the ruby blue really isn't her color" Ethan looked at Donia "i know i know but have you ever thought of the fact that if we fail we will die they will be punished even worse then what they are now" he looked in the direction the mansion was in. Cindy's voice rang in his inner ear her advise from when he had a guy messing with him and he thought he'd never win and have a happy life in high school "whatever happens big brother your strong and will never stop fighting i know you so never give in and never ever give up" he smiled slight and stoud up "you really want to see them" he began to unbuttum his shirt. his back to her. the end of his shirt flew open and he shrugged the shirt off the markings wisked around form the side of his chest barely touching his back. "there they are" he turned to her showing them to her.

Coraline listened intently to Brutus’s story, not finding it strange, instead finding creative. He had more of an imagination than she did, that was for sure. In fact, she was quite impressed though it was hard to tell as she dried the dishes he finished washing. Donia gulped, a worried look flashing across her face. The fact that they could die trying had never crossed her mind. “At least we have good teachers. If their enemies killed everyone except for those people in the mansion, then surely they have a few tricks to pass on from their experience.” Still, she was absolutely dismayed by the idea that she was being led onto a suicide mission. But she still had faith in the exiles that they would teach her how to survive and she was curious to what stories they had to tell of the previous King and Queen for she admired them quite a lot. She looked up when Ethan stood up, holding her breath in anticipation. Pursing her lips, she stood up and calmly approached him. Eyes fixed on the marks on his chest; she reached out hesitantly to touch the markings. She gasped when she saw his light up and felt the ones on her face burn comfortingly.

Brutus looked at the empty sink "well i guess our labors are over my dear" he smiled at her eventhough she could not return him in words he felt a kind company from her and enjoyed his time with her "shall i walk you to your room" Zaria nodded "yes yes your quiet right" Tali nodded her head tring not to smile in the polite return. then left for her room. Ethan enjoyed the firey warmth the marks were making the the sting was a guilty plessure he wished not to let be noticed. "thats just weird" he said as he looked at Donia marks the red glow was astonishing he could gaze into that light for hours if she'd let him. "it's like theres a nice camp fire on your face" he blushed at what had slipped his lips he was embrassed that he might have embrassed her. mental slapping himself he put his shirt back on the draft making his skin breaking out in goose bumps. "i just don't want to die for a cause that i barely even know.....i mean whos going to get my sisters out of their troubles"

Coraline felt her heart warm at Brutus’s smile, and for the first time in a long while she was bothered she couldn’t return it. Perhaps it was because of the new monarchs there that she was beginning to wish that her wounds would heal soon. She’d put up with them for so long, she’d come to accept them as part of her existence, though this has surely changed. Still, she nodded her head enthusiastically and held out her hand for him to take. Meanwhile, Donia shuddered when took back her hand and the fiery warmth was snuffed out like the flame of a candle. She swiftly looked away from Ethan, refusing to meet his eyes as he put his shirt back on. Protests were lodged in her throat, which she promptly beat down. The mist dissolved until the air was clear and she finally looked at him with a calculating look. She carefully hid her emotions and kept her expression vague. “Well I suppose it was nice talking with you, but I’m going back to my room.” After a curt goodnight she quickly rushed to her room.

Brutus smiled warmly and took her hand politely and escorted her to her room where he bidded her goodnight as he left he smiled more in the deeper sense "i hope we can help her soon" he whispered hope grew more with each hour that the new monarchs were there. Ethan turned back at the hurried voice of Donia but only saw her back rushing inside. he frowned wanting to talk to her a bit more but she was already gone. "oh well i guess i can take a short stroll around this place for a while" he whispered to himself. He began to walk through the moon lite garden a sort of peaceful smile graced his face before he went off to bed his drowziness to much to handle any longer.
