"Don't try to attack me if you do I will kill you. What you saw back there was horrible example of what I am truly capable of. All I want to know is why you are here based on what you say I will make my decision."

Darika had already created her story as she made her journey to the middle lands "you truely want to know" her eyes darkened as she began to act as she should "the northern lands aren't as peaceful as people want to believe you have thugs and murderers running the streets" she paused her acting very convencing and believeable "my father came home one day he was ambushed by the thugs they killed him and began to have their way with my mother and older sisters" her voice was soft "i ran as my mother tried to save me i could hear their screams in the distance. i lived on the streets for the longest time my family dead leaving nothing to me. five years went by and i decided to come here to the middle lands for a better life" she crossed her arms "but i don't think my life got any better if i'm going to be treated like this"

Kuroku laughed,"Right of course and I am a princess from heaven... So you are a assassin or a spy then... So which one is it." He smiled widely at her. "You know if that story had been packed with anymore crap I might have been sick." His hands played with his swords and he leaned against a tree. "So come now tell me the truth and I might be inclined to help you."

Darika only smiled "neither of those are my occupation" she leaned against a tree her eye watching his muscles for any sense of a pre-movement "that is my story if you don't believe it then you need to learn how to trust those new to you" her fingers tapped the poitions tops waiting for him to dare to get close to her.

Darika just looked at him her emerald eyes softened as she brought her hands from the potion bottles to cross her arms "honestly" she looked at the moon "i wanted to get away" she sighed "think about it having to live through fighting and killing from the time your a small child" pausing she lookeda tthe moon "i came here to find my way so i could go back adn get my revenge" she growled omniously as she looked back at him.

"Thats more like it... Well unfortunately I also know what being raised to violence is like. I have been killing since I could first walk and hold a small knife." He smiled and lay a hand on her shoulder. "Well I will help you." He then began walking to her horse. He stopped and looked over his shoulder and he smiled and said, "Why does this sound like the start of a bad romance..." He shrugged and began to walk again.

Darika lifted her eyebrow at the question. she pushed herself off the trees rough bark and walked a few feet behind the man "i wouldn't know" she softly says behind him. she reached her horse the black coat glistening his snorts aggressive towards the man "he doesn't like strangers much less strangers that pull me off him so with intensions to kill" her hands stretched down his back the vibrations of his breathing rumbled through her arm "what is your name stranger" she smiled coyly

Kuroku bowed to the horse,"I can respect that..." He turned to the girl, "Well if I was feeling grand I would tell you all my titles good and bad but I left those days behind me. So know this I am Kuroku and I am servant of the less fortunate." With that he pulled a pack and a hat out of the bushes to the right. He shook the dew of the hat and placed it on his head. "Well shall we be off."

Taking the reins she pulls the horses attenion from Kuroku to her demands "calm yourself" she whispered to the beast "where to this is your home" her hand rested on the sterdy neck of the horse as she looked above the head to Kuroku. walking the path he walked not a clue as to where she was going it sent an uneasy feeling to her

She just shrugged slightly picking up her fallen bow she shook it at him "you know i stole this from a very dangerous man and you go sniping it like that" she fastened it to the carrier that was on the horses back. when she eventually caught up to him "so where is it that your taking me"

Darika looked at him bored and blankly "i thought you were talking to yourself" shrugging "so i just stopped listening because it really wasn't my business what you mawl over with yourself." looking straight ahead in the darkness she wondered if she'd run into her brothers on the way there, if they'd remember her. her face was blank of any emotion the wind pushing in different directions.

Walking through the run down village the cowrds seemed to split apart as they walked "well i guess i'm with a celebraty" she said coldly. the grundgy people seemed to bow at their feet "well since we're where you said you'd escort me i guess i'll take off" she then jumped upon the horses back the reins in her hands the horse making a complete stop the head reared back at Kuroku "i'll be seeing you"

"Wait won't you come with me to see one of the few remaining wonders in this justice forsaken land." He looked at her expectantly then shrugged. Follow me if you wish. As he began to walk. A large dirty muscular peasant man stepped out of the crowd and smiled hugely at Kuroku and embraced him and crowed, "Brother welcome home." Kuroku laughed and extricated himself. "Kiden how are you. Walk with me." He looked back at his companion and motioned for her to follow. He then whispered so only Kiden and the girl could here. The other peasants dispersed and Kiden spoke normally, "Lord Tokimaru has increased taxes once again. Are you going to speak with him this time." Kuroku sighed and then grinned evilly, "This time yes."

An eyebrow went up as she watched him talk to a stange man "what am i getting myself into" she whispered to herself. she motioned for her horse to press onward slowly at a walk the peasent childern looking on. "your only going to get more problems then you want to barrgin for Kuroku" she harshly said her she looked down at him.

"You want to know my problem my friend," He said speaking to the girl. "My problem is that I love the people of this land far to much for my own good. I am a fugitive of the law and I have done everything they say I have. Right now this town is being taxed dry of every possible comfort these people have... Darika... I am not asking you to come with me though I am sure you will. I am going to kill this man Tokimaru... I am not going to do it to prove a point... not for revenge... I am going to do for honor and justice... for those two things I will always fight for they have so forsaken this land. There is no situation I would not run into so save the people and the land I love and again I am not going to ask you to come with me to fight for a cause you may or may not believe in. So come with me if you wish or stay with me if you wish but fight I will and fight I must."

Darika listened her face very cold "Listen Kuroku i may not be from here but a trap sounds like a trap anywhere you go" she smile devilishly "and your high horse is trotting straight into one" she leaned closer to him "you speak of honor but don't you think your making it worse for these people..everytime you kill someone who taxes or makes a famine for these people you love there is always another head to grow in it's place possibaly two." she looked around as they left the crowded section of the village "it can't be just one person to fight it has to be the whole village i'm sorry but cowards are al lyour standing up for and i bid ado i think i'll pass on watching you making the dragon bigger" then she turned her horse and walked off toward the forest jumping off she walked him into the darkness"

Kuroku sighed, "I am not just killing them..." He yelled after her. "With this action we are sparking a revolution and you wrongly suppose that I am going in alone with or without you. My army is en route to join me. Today this village and tomorrow the next and tomorrow the next until all of this Middle Kingdom is taken over and in the old governments place rises a new one and after all that I will be forgotten..." He smiled and yelled and chucked a dagger at her, "Take this with you to remember me by for I die this day I die with honor. If I die this day... I died fighting for what I believed in." He turned and stared and the fortress looming in the distance.

Darika smiled as the dagger wisked past her a foot from her "a fool of a man" she whispered as she looked at the dagger her fingers gliding over the hiltas her fingers wrapped around it tugging it free. she tied her horses reins to a branch "stay i'll be back soo my love" she kissed the soft muzzle of the black steed before weeding her way through the forest if he was going to attack someone her brothers might be there as well and she wasn't going to miss the chance.
