Evangeline whimpered suddenly in her sleep, finally shifting around in her seat. Zombie stood up, sniffing his owner worriedly. He knew she was having a bad nightmare, probably one of her worst ones. In her dreams the lighting with strange. Pale streaks of light were shining down on her in the darkness. Bubbles slipped past her lips whenever she breathed, water rushing into her lungs. Her eyes were widened and fear filled, her arms thrashed around to bring her to the surface. Yet, there was something that continued to pull her down, keeping her below the waters exterior. She was running out of air and fast, and horror clenched her heart when she realized she was drowning. It was agony. Meanwhile, her sleeping figure in the common room started coughing uncontrollably, water spitting past her pale lips though her eyes remained closed.

Kuroku walked over to her and placed his hand on her forehead and sighed.

A dream can dream a wonderful thing.

A dream can dream a horrible thing.

A dream can dream fantastic things.

A dream can dream a sad thing.

A dream can dream happy things.

A dream can dream a lonely thing.

But, most of all,

Dreams can dream!

He whispered this poem into her mind hoping that it would calm her until he could allow her to awake. He saw her dream and slipped into it and began to pull her to the surface.

Millies breath was becoming more rapid. the flames from a burning house wiped against her face as men came at her she ran. it was a nightmare from the past she could feel the persons fear racing through her the childern screamed in the distance tears escaped her eyes as she ran her hands holding up the ends of her victorian styled skirt. to the people in her time she was breathing quickly her skin warm to the touch and sweat began to bead around the edge of her neck and the top of her brow.

Evangeline gasped for air when they resurfaced, only when they emerged they were on solid ground instead of water as her dream shifted. Bewildered, she blinked confusedly, glancing at Kuroku wondering how he came into the picture. Even more strange was the setting around them. The grass was dead and mossy beneath them, gnarled trees reached every which way, the sky was black, and the air was cool. Not to mention they just so happened to be in a grave yard with an iron black fence, but that’s not all. Victorian chairs and tables were set up all over. Many transparent figures meandered around as if they were at a party, laughter and music spilling into the night chill. Evangeline grinned at the sight and grabbed Kuroku’s hand, pulling him to a couch underneath one of the dead tree’s and squealed in delight at the tea sets and plates of snack set out for them. The longer they stayed in the dream, the more and more the scene looked like a party, including gothic decorations and all.

The Kuroku in Evangeline's dream held onto her hand fearful of what would happen if he let go. He just smiled at her and said nothing and let her have her fun. The real world Kuroku walked over to Millie and touched her on the forehead and delved into her dreams. He descended into the dream and took her away from her troubles. He lay his cool forehead onto her forehead and breathed calm into her. ((no i am not kissing her)) He stood and waited for her to calm down.

A peculiar sense of dread began to seep into Evangeline’s dream. Frowning, she looked around the graveyard, away from the company that had been making friendly conversation with her. The meanderers of the gala had gone eerily silent and deadly still. They all stared vacantly at nothing in particular. Evangeline stood up worriedly, not liking where things were going. She yelped when a crow suddenly cawed and flew overhead at a startling pace, making her drop her tea cup and shatter. More crows appeared as if out of thin air and landed on the dead branches of the tree’s littering the grounds. Casting an anxious glance at Kuroku, she turned back to her guests, lifting her hand and waving them away. The graveyard was then empty of ghostly figures, dust left behind wafting in their wake. Suddenly the ground trembled and she clung to Kuroku fearfully.

Kuroku grabbed Evangeline and wings sprang from his back and he took off into the air. He flew her up past the trees then stopped. He looked down trying to spot the danger that was coming. As he did it began to rain. The drops were big and he was throughly soaked in a matter of seconds. He looked around still waiting for something to happen.

An overgrown garden materialized the one her grandmother use to have the roses so red and rich with life along with all the vines crawling up any surface that led them to the sky. a small child ran from around the corner as the Millie disappeared from Kuroku's grasp. the innocent eyes smiled up at him as she giggled cheerfully a white daisy in her tiny hands holding it carefully, her dark hair in curls swoshed around with the wind. "who are you mister?" she asked sweetly.

The ground shook and suddenly the graveyard split in half in a jagged line. A gigantic hole was now filling up with water as the rain pored down onto the ground. The many coffins buried below were now rising to the surface. Evangeline knew what was happening, but was still in shock it would happen in her dream. The haphazard rows of coffins were now being torn apart from the inside and soon decomposed hands were lifting the shreds of wood away. Evangeline felt tears sting her eyes as corpses hauled themselves out of the mud as if they were in some terrifying horror movie. The whole graveyard it seemed was now filled with decaying dead people and the party was all but ruined.

The Kuroku in Evangeline's sighed as he realized what was going on and he whispered to her, "So this is the Necromancers Curse. Controlling the undead does not come without a price does it. Seeing everything slowly decaying around you is the curse of the ever living and the curse of necromancers. However, it makes all the things that are beautiful and unchanging more beautiful.

((Elena does the girl look like a younger version of you or what))

The real Kuroku stood straighter and began to summon a fraction of his power and watched as the fire went out and around him the shadows gathered. He smiled as the power in him began to reach the appropriate level. His eyes grew a ferocious shade of red mixed with black. His fangs grew move pronounced and demonic wings appeared on his back. Around him the energy grew into a swirling tornado of shadow and around the tornado nothing was affected. Everything was still and silent as though in anticipation.

The Kuroku in Millie's dream sighed and ran his hand through his hair. He looked at the child and sighed again, "I am nothing..." That was all he said. "To you no matter what I say in this dream child I will be nothing more that a ghost that haunts you wildest dreams and fantasies."

the small girl giggled "your funny mister" her tiny hand went up and stroked the daisies petal "your not suppose to be in here" her voice wasn't innocent any longer it was almost demonic sounding. the garden swirled away from them the sounds of bird songs faded into a blackness that surrounded the lonely Kuroku but in the darkness was a prescene.

Evangeline looked away as she wiped her eyes, hiding any fallen tears. She pursed her lips to keep from revealing her true thoughts and feelings. It didn’t feel right to have to explain herself to him. The only way she could correctly do that was to show him. She turned back to face him, capturing his gaze. Suddenly the scene changed yet again. The sky was a dull gold, the grey sun shining down on the Victorian styled street in the old city. Evangeline smiled slyly at Kuroku from behind the puppeteer’s stage. He stood on the sidewalk serving as the only audience member whereas the rest of the street was littered with colorful costumed performers that were unsurprisingly missing a few limbs. It appeared the circus was in town and Evangeline was controlling them all. Every movement her puppets made, the performers mimicked. “You don’t know anything. There’s more to it than that,” she intoned.

Kuroku smiled and vanished into the blackness. He voice rang out cold and cruel and the realm became tinged red, "OH child what little you know of me...." As he spoke his voice grew dark and terrible. "What do you know of right and wrong in this place of lost dreams and souls. What do you know besides pain and suffering. What do you know... What do you know... But enough of this... it is almost time to awake."

Kuroku smiled and remained silent his eyes sparkling with untold years of knowledge. Then he spoke quietly, "You are wrong you know... I know everything..." He smiled and suddenly the living appeared on the street and they were all faces dragged from her memory and then they and undead performers appeared to be following his directive. "For as you necromancer control death. I vampire control everything live and death. But enough of this. I know much for while I am in your dream but not a entity of the dream I have unrestricted access to all the knowledge you have gained in your life time. But enough of this... it is almost time to awake."

((I actually kind forgot what the real kuroku was supposed to be achieving in all this any ideas or hints))

The child chuckled "oh mister" then she was infront of him her eyes black a wicked smile on her face "this place in a releam of which i belong and you do not there is no right and wrong here just dreams" as she spoke the child morphed back to the Millie Kuroku knew "this is a dwelling of ancient power if your not careful" she chuckled and disappeared once more
